What is Facial Revitalisation Acupuncture?

Facial Revitalisation Acupuncture (FRA) often known as Acu-Lift, is a non surgical face-lift treatment that is based on the principles of Traditional Acupuncture that has been in practice effectively for thousands of years in China.

Its success in attributed to its ability to work at many levels.  Apart from its value in treating ill-health physically, based on symptoms, it reaches deeper energetic levels to treat imbalances at the root cause.

It is by tapping into the body's reservoir of energy that Acupuncture is able to benefit the skin through the stimulation of this energy (Qi). This allows the generation of new skin growth by improving circulation to the face.  This stimulation enhances both the energy, blood flow and collagen production.

Treatment involves the placing of very fine, hair-like disposable needles into the areas of the face, along the fine lines and wrinkles, together with other areas of the body used to enhance results.

There is very little sensation, with possibly a mild stinging feeling on occasions.

There are no side effects after treatment although very occasionally there may be some localized bruising.  This is very minor and soon disappears.

The Benefits of FRA may include:-

  • Fine lines being entirely eliminated and deeper wrinkles diminished
  • Bags under the eyes reduced
  • Jowls firmed
  • Puffiness eliminated
  • Double chin diminshed
  • Improved muscle tone and reduction of sagging
  • Tightening of pores
  • Reduction of stress evident in the face....bringing out the innate beauty and radiance of the individual.
